Education

The college was looking for an experienced facilitator to train their staff in process improvement tools and techniques, before getting the improvement team to look at their key business processes.

We provided in-house training and followed up by supporting the college teams on the ‘Student Journey’. This topic covers every aspect of the business process and has led to completely new ways of working being identified, all of which will lead to an improved curriculum being offered to the students.

By standardising the process, time has been freed up for staff to enhance the student experience by offering additional services, and adding more value to their education.

‘Recently Walker Wylie decided that it was necessary to look at our Operating Procedures and Working Processes as the company continued to grow.
From our first discussion, through to the physical creation of our new Operating Procedures, the professionalism Graham has shown has been remarkable. The meetings we had over the last few weeks have really opened our eyes and helped us to improve in lots of areas. It is abundantly clear the experience and knowledge Graham has gained in his field, and how it can significantly help people, and companies, improve on so many levels.
We look forward to continuing our relationship in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending GFWQM’s services to family, friends or clients.’

Graham had mentioned he often helped with tenders so we asked for him to support us with the process. I am so glad we did. GFWQM helped pull together the documents we didn’t have, and tweak our processes and documents where required. Submitting tenders will be a very simple process going forward. We are now using GFWQM to help with our systems and processes and with our ISO9001 system. Graham is very easy to work with and he breaks complicated systems down into incredibly simple ones.
